housebreaking a chihuahua?
ok since noone helped me with my last question of how to litterbx train a chihuahua…then can someone help me with an easy/consistent way to housebreak a dog? i have no grass close to my apartment as i live in th city so idk where to even bring my dog…and id really appreciate only serious answers tht dont judge me for what i do with my animals thanks in advance!
o and also he hates being on a leash so that is making things 10X harder…how can i get him more comforatble with this?i have tried a harness and leash

How many of you have been to your local animal shelter?
I went today to look for a lost pet I thought (was hoping) was picked up. I haven’t been to one in years. It was the most depressing sight. I went about 7 years ago to get my dog sprung out, and told myself I would never buy another pet and I would only adopt. Every pet I have now are strays.
Please adopt your pets. Go visit your local shelter they have a little of everything there. I saw a dachshund, a lab puppy and a chihuahua to name a few. Numerous cats and kittens of every color. I’m so depressed now tho!!!!
For those that have been, do you still buy pets or only adopt? And why buy when you can find whatever you want thru adoption?
OMG me too Madison! I was trying to talk to the lady that works there and I could feel my throat tightening and tears welling in my eyes. I didn’t want to look at the animals so I was trying to look at the ceiling when I was talking. She knew I was about to lose it, so she gave me a kleenex.
If you’re into showing dogs or sporting dogs I get buying from a breeder. I should’ve phrased the question for the pet owner that wants a companion. If you think pugs are cute and would like one for a companion and that’s it, then you can probably find one at the pound.
